Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day Weekend we went up to see my cousins, Billy and his wife Trina and their daughter Bella) and aunts and uncles. My cousin Heather (and her husband Kendall and their kids Kenzie and Trey) came down to meet us there also. We had a wonderful time with everyone! Heather's family and Mark, Caden, and I stayed at Billy and Trina's house. It was so much fun to watch the kids playing together. I can remember when Heather, Billy, and I were the cousins running around, having fun, getting into trouble at Grandma Aggie and Grandpa Bill's house. Oh the stories! So, it was great to watch our kids playing!

We had a full weekend planned. On Saturday, we started the morning off at Billy and Trina's house with brunch with my parents, my aunts and uncles and cousins. It was so great getting to spend time with everyone! After brunch we (the cousins) went out on Billy and Trina's new boat while the grandparents (my parents, Billy's parents, my aunt Pat and my uncle Jim, and my grandpa Bill) watched the kids! We had a great time out on the boat! The weather was beautiful and it was perfect for boating! The water was cold, so the guys were the only one's who had enough guts to get in! After we were done boating we all met back up at the pizza pub to eat dinner and pick up the kids! They had a great time at the park with the grandparents. We then headed back to Billy and Trina's for a nice evening together!

On Sunday ate breakfast at Bill and Kim's and then we took the kids to Como Zoo. They had a great time! Caden got to go on the rides all by himself and he did great! I was shocked at how nice Como Zoo is...and best of all it is FREE!!! Sunday night we went over to Bill and Kim's house and Bill made my grandma's famous chicken. It was wonderful and made us remember the good old times with grandma! We had a great night of hanging out and going hot tubing with the kids! Heather's birthday was on September 2nd, so we had cake and ice cream to celebrate with her. Then Heather and her family went to spend the night at Grandpa Bill's house.

On Monday Billy and Trina and Mark and I took the kids to Teddy Bear park. It is a park that is made for kids under 7 years old, so Caden was in heaven! He loved being able to run all around and play, and we didn't have to worry about him being knocked all around by the bigger kids. After that we headed back to Bill and Kim's and said goodbye to Billy, Trina, and Bella. By the time our weekend was over, we were all so exhausted from going all weekend long! We spent the night at Bill and Kim's that night because we had to head to Mayo early the next morning.

We had a wonderful weekend, and wish that we all lived closer so we could do it more often. But, it always makes the time together that much more precious because we know it will be a while before we are all together again! Bill, Kim, Billy, and Trina, thank you so much for all of your hospitality while we were there! We can't wait to do it again soon! Love you all so much!
