Long Day

I have always felt like I missed out on being able to get up with Caden in the middle of the night when he was a baby due to my chemotherapy. Well, last night I finally got to experience what it would have been like. He went to bed late and then woke up around 2:00 and got into our bed for a while. After an hour he wanted to go back into his own room and sleep on the floor. He finally fell back asleep only to wake up again at 4:00 and wanted me to come sleep on the floor with him. Well, he was basically up from 4:00 on. Finally at 6:15 I went into our room and put a movie on for him figuring that he would fall back asleep...wrong!!! He fell back to sleep around 7:30 and slept till about 10:00. Other than that our day went pretty well.

Caden started getting more chicken pox yesterday and even more today. I would say that he probably has around 300 spots on his little body. :( He really started to itch today, so it was a tough day for him. He figured out that we were putting his medicine in his drink boxes, so he wouldn't drink them...smart boy! I wouldn't drink them either, the medicine is not good at all! Tonight Mark and I ran to the store and picked up some little "incentives" to help him take his medicine. They worked on his last dose tonight! Only one and a half days left of it!!! I will keep you posted on how the rest goes.
