Busy Week

Hey all! Sorry it has taken me so long to post something new. It was a very busy week last week. Caden is all done with the chicken pox and is back to his normal self! It is nice to be able to take him out and not have to stay at home all the time!

Last Tuesday we drove to Norfolk, NE for Mark's grandpa's viewing and then Wednesday after the funeral we came home. It was a long couple of days, but it was worth it. It was great seeing all of the familly together again, just wish it would have been for something happy. Caden did very well considering all the sitting he had to do. At the funeral I had to take caden out about a third of the way through because he was restless. Mark couldn't sit with us because he was one of the pallbearers, and so when Caden saw Mark he wanted to sit with him and he couldn't. How do you explain to a 2 1/2 yr old that he can't sit with daddy? Other than that he did really well.

On Friday my mom and I took Caden to the library. He loves going to the library and having me read books to him. He doesn't seem to understand why he has to be quiet though. They have a little play area there for the kids with blocks, puppets, and books for them to play with. He loves to be with other kids, so it is a perfect place to take him! We also went to the gym on Friday and he got to play on the outside equipment there for the first time! The day care person said that he was outside running the entire hour he was there. So, that was nice for him.

Mark and I continued to work on our landscaping this weekend and we are getting close to being done! We found our fountain and got a great price on it. It looks so nice where we have it! Caden loves to help us outside! We got his pool out and let him play while we worked. He would go back and forth from the pool to helping us, it was great. I will post some pictures of the landscaping when we get finished with it.
