Chicken Pox

Well, today the little man woke up with little red bumps on his back, so my first thought was chicken pox. He hadn't received the vaccine because of me being on chemo, so when I saw the bumps, chicken pox made the most sense to me. I took him to the doctor this afternoon and sure enough it is the chicken pox! He hasn't been itching them at all, so hopefully we caught it early enough that it won't spread too much. He was put on some medicine that he takes 4 times a day. It stinks because he won't take the medicine, so we have to put it in drink boxes so that he doesn't know that it is in there! Hopefully he won't figure that out! He doesn't have to many spots right now, but he has gotten more as the day has gone on. Oh well, hopefully it won't be too bad! I will keep you posted on how he is doing!
