Trip to Minnesota!

Ever since Caden was born, we have only taken one vacation that has not been medically related. So, this last time that we went up to Mayo we decided to take a few days before hand to go on a mini vacation. We went up to Minneapolis and went to the Mall of America. We took the afternoon to shop and then let Caden ride the rides at Nickelodeon Universe from 5 to close. He had so much fun! It was great because we got him a bracelet to ride as many rides as he wanted as much as he wanted for $15. If Caden was not big enough to go on the rides himself then Mark or I could go with him for free! Of course due to Mark's size, momma ended up riding most of the rides with him. He had such a great day that day and didn't want to go back to the hotel! He was so tired, and getting him back was tough!

The next day we took Caden to the Water Park of America at the Radisson Hotel. He was so pumped about this, and talked about it for a week before we actually got to go! We did a full day pass and it was so worth it! We went from 11-5 and then went back to the hotel to take a break and let Caden take a nap. Then we went back from 7-10. So, we had a very full day of that and he didn't want to leave at all! We all had a blast at the water park! Caden actually was able to ride all of the water slides, and some of them he actually got to go on all by himself! He was so excited about those. There was a kids play area where we started playing and then we convinced him to move onto bigger and better things! There was a family raft ride that we all went on together and that was his favorite! The tube was huge and it could seat 6 people, so with us only having 3 it was an awesome ride! He also really liked the body slides that he could ride down by himself! He wasn't real fond of the lazy river because he was on the go and didn't want to just sit and relax. Can you blame him though??? We will definitely do the water park trip again!
