4th of July

This year Caden really got into the 4th of July! We started the morning off by getting up and going over to Missouri to get some fireworks. He had so much fun picking them out! Of course, he wanted to get them ALL, but he did get to pick out some. Then off to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for me to make dessert...homemade ice cream and cherry cobbler! YUM!!! Then we headed over to mom and dad's house. It was a really quiet 4th. My Uncle Bill and Aunt Kim were there and Scooter and Heather came over. So, it was really nice to have family there. We used to always have a ton of kids over, so it was kind of a nice change from that. We just spent the day out by the pool and then we watched Stilwell's fireworks from home and the Scooter put on his normal show for us! Caden got some smoke bombs, snakes, and pops that we did earlier in the day, but he LOVED Uncle Scooter's show! He did sparklers for the first time this year. He was a little weary of them at first, but with help from momma and Uncle Scooter he warmed up to the idea of them!
