We started the morning with making Mark a carrot cake (his favorite) for his birthday. I say we, but it was actually the little man that did the work. All I did was measure everything out and then he put it in the mixer and turned it on! After that we headed out on our shopping adventure...man, was Caden a trooper!!! He got some "red popsicles" as a reward for being so good! He loved them!!! So, after a long day of running around looking for Mark's birthday gifts, we finally got home and did some cooking! I made bruschetta and lasagna for dinner and he loved it! He opened his gifts and then we had a great family dinner together, followed by cake! Oh yeah, Caden even put the candles on the cake! Then we just relaxed the rest of the evening! It was perfect! Hope you had a great day daddy! We love you!
