My little Wise Man...

Okay, so we have been talking with Caden about how Christmas is a celebration of the birthday of baby Jesus. He understands that and realizes that is what we are celebrating. If you ask him what Christmas is about he will say, "Baby Jesus birthday!". So, today Caden and I put up the manger scene and I read him the story of Christmas out of his children's bible. As we talked about each person, he got to move them into the manger scene and he loved it. After we were finished with the scene I summed up for him what we had just done. After that he said, "Momma I give waffles to her (Mary), and he (Joesph) wants red juice". So, he went over to the coffee table and acted like he was cooking for them and brought it over to serve them. I think that may have been his way of giving presents to Mary and Joesph just like the Wise men did. It was so cute! The imagination that he has is just incredible! I would love to get inside his head and find out what he is thinking about!
