Great Weekend!

This weekend was really busy! On Friday night we went to Brad and Amber's house for dinner. They have a 10 month old little boy and Caden just loves him! They played really well together and Caden was sad when baby Sam had to go to bed.

On Saturday we worked on the landscaping...it went really well! It was in the 90's here, so it was really hot out to be working. The only thing that we have left is to rock the flower bed on the side of the house and then plant something in it. It is looking awesome! Mark finished rebuilding one of the stone walls and then made another one...he is amazing!!! We ended up grilling out with the neighbors for dinner and that is always fun! Caden got to be outside with us all day and he loved it, then he got to play with the neighborhood kids Saturday night when we grilled out. He really enjoys being with the other kids in the neighborhood.

On Sunday we went out to mom and dad's house and went swimming and fishing. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Caden LOVES being in the water and swimming! He was jumping off the side of the pool and then would swim to the side all by himself. Of course he had his water wings on, but he is doing great with swimming. At the gym he isn't allowed to wear his water wings, so he has had to learn how to swim a little bit to get to the edge of the pool and he can do really well with that also. After dinner we went out fishing. Of course Caden did AWESOME!!!! He caught two fish all by himself with his little fishing pole! We threw out his line and then gave the pole to him and he did the rest all by himself! He caught a bass and a sunfish! He was so excited when he caught them! After we were finished fishing, we fed the catfish and had a bonfire! We roasted marshmallows, made smores, and ate peanuts! It was the perfect day!
